This has to be cover of the month, hell it may be cover of the first six months of the year (just to play it on the safe side). Those of you who frowned when read the title but nevertheless played the song, I salute you for your bravery. For a laic like me the first ting that comes to my mind after the name of Whitney Houston is the extremely cheesy love song "I Will Always Love You". In fact I got it confused with Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart" as I tried to remember who Whitney Houston was.

Anyway, let's put all insignificant details about the original aside and focus on this extraordinary cover. The song is so skilfully produced that nothing suggests it's in fact a cover of a 90's song. How about you play it to your parents and see if they recognize it. That would be a good test for their memory and you'd probably hear them saying "ahh, this sounds so familiar yet no idea who plays it".

As to who is behind this lovely cover, I could not find much info. I assume it is a duo judging by their only photo. Joseph and The Bird are based in London where they simple "make music" - according to their recently created Facebook profile. Last but not least, you should watch the video to the song. It is as good as the cover. What a debut if this is really one!
