When I first heard Yuna's "believer" I was floored with emotion.
We've been covering the music of the Malaysian artist since the inception of our website (thanks, Anna), so this one feels special. A subtle blend of timeless neo-soul and playful jazz/pop mix, "believer" feels nostalgia, mellow, yet weirdly hopeful.
Fun fact. Yuna holds a Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons.) degree - something that feels very far from the creative spirit of music, but it definitely adds a layer of cool around her.
