A brand new addition to our global psychedelia selection, thanks to the mesmerising sounds of the international 4-piece Yuuf. With members from the UK, France, Switzerland and Denmark, the band weaves a kaleidoscopic energy that feels like stepping into a parallel universe - lush, vivid, and endlessly alluring.

Andrin, Anthony, Hugo and Oliver are coming in hot just a few months after the release of their brilliant Alma's Cove EP, which skyrocketed them to the top of my most played artists this year. "Mesa Mesa" feels a bit more hard-hitting than their previous work and it marks the first step towards their upcomng EP Mt. Sava via Ninja Tune / Technicolour Records scheduled for release on October 29th.

"We’re very proud of this piece and we think it sounds huge. We’re leaving the tropical worlds and are inviting you to enter the desert. Where heat meets the sands and the sun turns the air into a glimmering atmosphere.", the band elaborates.

I love the concept behind the music video for "Mesa Mesa". Basically, Yuuf asked fans to send over a collection of sunrises and sunsets from around the world and this ended up being a stunning patchwork of moments from across the world. A great way to create something personal, intimate and expansive and involve the people who support them.
