Stockholm-based trio ZEM already won my heart from their very first release, so the feature of their new single "Alive" didn't came very surprising.

The track is actually the first song they made together and describes the feeling when you connect with another being. A journey through feelings that rush through your body, both in the body and soul.

After being exposed to their music for some time now, I could safely say - these guys managed to quickly build their unique sound universe. Drawing inspirations in downtempo, r&b, soul, African beats and Asian motifs, describing their sound feels pretty impossible. Lets just leave it as breath-taking. When it comes to their debut EP Want U To Know, the guys share...

We want to give the listener an experience that really can be felt. In the body, in the heart, in the stomach and in the soul. That same experience we had when we were making the EP. Our hope is that we can connect with those who listens through frequencies, sounds and melodies that come together and makes the listener feel embraced.
