Danish producer/pianist 9ICK unveiled his new, self-released album SMIL. Alongside the upfront singles "Cold Dip" & "Postcard from 2023", you're blessed with 10 more tune, all collaborations with immense talents.

For the focus tune "Tak for Mad", 9ICK has brought together famed saxophonist Braxton Cook, pianist Elijah Fox (under his moniker Søren Søstrom), and the collective Slug. The song "captures the energy of musicians playing across borders yet moving as one" through classic hip-hop production & jazz improvisations, carrying coziness, as well as excitement. "There’s a sense of warmth and togetherness in every note - the sound of friends sharing ideas, stories, and rhythm long after dinner is done," 9ICK shared.
