Walk It

Just a few weeks after Lu's stellar feature of A/S/L's "Candy", it's time for me to carry on the groovy torch with a brand new offering from the LA-based producer.

The new single, called "Walk It", delivers a raw, percussive homage to classic Chicago house. Distorted drums, syncopated grooves, and beautifully sliced vocal snippets that all come together in a hypnotic rhythm that radiates attitude. Honestly, it was on the 14th second of the tune that I knew this would make a perfect addition to our summer feel-good dance playlist.

I love absolutely every little detail about this track. From the short but sweet vocal sample in the beginning to the intense ride cymbal hits, A/S/L offers what I consider 2025's best summer (alternative) dance experience.
