Aguava's soothing 2025 release "Mirage" has been utterly transformed by Loverground, to the point where it sounds like a completely new track.
The U.K.-based Loverground is a deep house artist who tends to pull a variety of other genres from the electronic realm to craft his sound. What I loved about his newest remix of Aguava's "Mirage" was how he introduced an r&b element through the silky smooth vocals, and this tastefully complemented the cries of the sax hovering in the backdrop. The track is also given more of an uplifting punch, especially thanks to the gritty bass line and the lively rhythm section. I must say he has beautifully combined his aesthetic with what Aguave has presented.
