Roger, Jordi & Albert. Three Catalan guy with a vision when it comes to post-rock. Before I start writing those lines, I would like to personally thank them for the opportunity to be among the first ones to hear their album. I have no experience when it comes to professional recording, but I imagine after putting an enormous amount of effort, showing your work for the first time must be... a bit scary. Well, they have nothing to be afraid of because Atlas is one of the best post-rock records I've heard in a long, long time.

Carefully curated, the album kicks-off with "You Are Here" - song which we premiered on Stereofox a few weeks back. I highly recommend taking your time and dividing your full attention to the brilliant video.

I had the chance of listening to the album while doing different things - sitting alone at home, going for a bike ride or during working hours. I have to say one thing - Atlas is like a chameleon - it perfectly blends with the "needs" of your ambiance. It is sad, and epic, and empowering. It can help you focus or it can make you drift somewhere in the space above.

The trio focuses on guitar crescendos and powerful build-ups which usually end up in a epic explosions of sounds - what we all love about post-rock!

If I say this album is good is a huge understatement. These guys clearly put heart and soul into the record and I'm more than sure people would recognize that in the sounds coming up from their headphones/speakers. As usual - I won't go into song by song analysis, but I have some favourites. "Atlas" and "Io" are pillars when it comes to quality post-rock and I hope you guys enjoy the album as much as I do!

Stay up to date.
