Amsterdam, a favorite city of mine can be very cold and hostile to people, who feel misleaded and lost. There is a wonderful park in town, which sheltered me for a night and provided me with a relaxed environment for thinking and figuring my life out. Of course I could not figure my life out! However, Volndelpark has never disappointed me since then.
When the band called Vondelpark released their NYC Stuff and NYC Bags EP I was hesitant to listen to it, but once I did, their music grew very delicately on me. If the park suddenly turned into the layers of audio frequencies, it would definitely sound as the three-piece UK band has composed it.
Seabad is an addictive bland of smooth, atmospheric guitar, R&B rhythms and nostalgic vocals that makes a perfect music for this time of the year, when the sun shines bright enough to melt snow, but still keep the hearts frozen.
Give this band a chance.
