I've brought something for the jazzheads today, too.
French vibraphonist and pianist Alexis Valet and his band The Cypher land on our feed for the first time with "Coda", a nostalgic and intoxicating contemporary jazz piece, in the company of LA saxophonist Braxton Cook.
Produced and arranged by Paris-based Monomite, the song's foundation is a chill hip-hop drum groove, with Alexis and Braxton's dreamy melodies intertwining, all building to saxophone and vibraphone solos you just can't get enough of. And these 6 minutes simply fly by.
This is part of their upcoming album, The Light.
