Italian producer and multi-instrumentalist Francesco Lo Guidice AKA Alsogood joins forces with Butcher Brown's own DJ Harrison to craft the ultimate weekend jazz beats soundtrack. Alsogood grabbed our attention back in 2021 with "Pothead" and it's great to see such a legendary collaboration happening.

The Figùra jazz trio founder is gearing up for his 3rd full-length album Elsewhere (via Universal Italy) and based on how tight "See The Light" is, I bet it's going to be one of the record's highlights. I love the slightly sluggish drumming feel, the jazz harmonies blended with lo-fi, and the light experimental taste on this one.

The album is expected sometime next year, so it gives me great hope that 2024 will bring us more of that nu jazz / hip hop flavor in the likes of Yuseef Dayes, Athletic Progression, Alfa Mist, Robert Glasper, and Butcher Brown themselves. Vinyl pre-orders are already available here.
