Alcest are probably the one band that could mix post-rock with something so distant as... pop. The French duo often use post-rock sounding instrumental and layer on top dreamy vocals and a perfect example of this is their newest and very colourful music video for the song "Opale". The post-rock thread is definitely the epic carrier, while the vocals add some sort of overwhelming sadness..
