The official date for the release of the album was on 4th of February 2013. The five-piece melodic hardcore band Heart in Hand from England, UK however made an announcement that the date was changed. The exact date for their second album Almost There is to be announced next week.
If for one or another reason you have not heard of the band before I highly recommend doing so. To me, HiH together with few other bands are a true safe haven in the alternative music scene. The raw and deeply emotional vocals of Charlie Holmes are what distinguish this band from so many others. There is something special in his voice, you can clearly feel what he sings he truly means it. Heck, he could be singing how he spilled his beer the other day and I bet you'd still feel his bitter disappointment. Add melodic riffs plus 4 guest vocalists to three different songs and this album turns to a highly anticipated one. Mikey Chapman and Sam Douglas of Mallory Know, James Leatherbarrow of Death of an Artist and Dani Winter Bates of Bury tomorrow are sharing the mic with Charlie Holmes. I am especially stoked for the guest visit of the last one. The album contains 13 songs and can be pre-ordered at the Siege of Amida website.
