The multi-faceted songwriter Caroline Rose had just released this great animated video for “Blood on your Bootheels”, a song inspired by the Trayvon Martin Case included in her new album I Will Not Be Afraid.

“It triggered all these thoughts about peoples' obsession with guns, how there's very little escape from violence for young black guys in the U.S. I thought about how this boy was holding a package of Skittles in his hand when he died, and how something as innocent as a pack of candy could be powerful and symbolic to pretty much any type of person”

Taking advantage of this powerful image, the singer created this amazing stop motion video using just candies; a process that took her more than 3 weeks.

If you are familiar with Caroline Rose's career, you will know that this is not the first videoclip she directs. This 24 years-old singer likes to be involved in all related into her music; this great mixture between rockabilly, country and blues that I'm sure you all will love.
