It's a simple yet so soothing and mesmerizing picture, gears turning, teeth clinging into slots in a constant repetitive motion. It is poetry for the eyes.
Ralph Steiner did the mechanics and shot the whole movie in 1930 and it was VertikalDesign who selected parts of it and added this tranquil soundtrack more than a half a century later. The song is "Little Boy" by 3 Liquid Hz.
