Babé Sila is a Budapest born singer, writer and musician based in East London. After being hailed as the Hungarian queen of R&B in her native country she decided to take the next step forward and started working in Berlin on her collaborations and moved to London to increase exposure and establish her creative community abroad. Growing up in a multicultural environment and years of songwriting helped her find her own sound and find confidence in creating her very own artistic visions. Her delicate vocals and soulful lyrics float effortlessly over head nodding beats, deep bass-lines and warm chords. Storytelling is her way of processing emotions and preserving memories. Her lyricism favours honesty, fragility, and plays with the duality of being soft and expressive at the same time.
