Björn Fogelberg's introduction to making electronic music was on a Commodore 64 in the mid-80s. His first two albums, 64 and Karooshi Porn, came out in 1996 and 1999. Since then, he has released music on various labels, including his own; XAKK. Björn can boast some of the biggest names in the industry. DJs such as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, and Matt Darey have played his tunes. Among other artists Björn has officially remixed, we find synth legends Klaus Schulze of Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Matt Darey's project Urban Astronauts. His latest album, Focus (2017), marked a new beginning for his sound. "I've always worked a lot with hardware synths, and shortly after my last two EP's, Rework 1 and 2, I started to get into the fascinating world of analog modular synthesizers. I like the idea of crafting interesting loops and sounds that way. It's a bit like programming, but always with a large element of randomness. Many of the tracks on Focus started that way as a random sequence on my modular setup. The inspiration to make another album built from that.". Björns music has been featured in films, like How to Stop Being a Loser and computer games like Deep Sea Tycoon: Diver's paradise, Super Laser Racer, Club Penguin, and the arcade game Pump it up pro 2.
