Finson AKA Fartein S. Orestad is a Norwegian music producer / songwriter and DJ. He released his solo debut album Things I Like in 2008. The record is a jazz and electronica outfit, and includes improvisational solo elements and alternative soundscapes. A few years later he released the EP Going South followed by a string of singles, where "Yeah Yeah Yeah" was featured in an Adidas commercial. In 2019 he signed his first publishing deal with Norway’s biggest publisher for pop music, Arctic Rights Management. In collaboration with ARM, Finson has been writing and producing for other artists and projects. Musically gradually leaning from Chillout towards NuDisco with some added fruity flavours, Finson dropped the single “Vintage Dream” with artist Neon Ion (Jazzland), released on Arctic Rights. He has also been involved as a composer for NRK, on the series for kids called "DIGG".
