Loockey is a project of an independent producer Dr. Luka Miladinovic Hugo, focused on the tranquil hip-hop instrumentals. The tracks combine producer's passion for organic jazzy instrumentation, hip-hop style of arranging, and softened "old-school" rythmic sections. Each song is crafted to have a peaceful and serene quality but, contemporaneously, to convey complex emotional states mostly through its melodic structure and arrangement.
Since 2010, the producer is actively involved in music production and has collaborated with numerous artists in various musical genres, even composing a score for an indie movie Grace (2017). Luka has also worked on popularizing domestic hip-hop by hosting and producing a TV show dedicated to the underground, independent artists.
In 2019, Loockey was born with a launch of a debut album A.T.O.M.I.Z.E.D. The album was followed by independent singles and collaborations with fellow artists such as lazyboyloops, lost.mindd, Selumiana, Stux.io, etc.
The philosophy behind the Loockey project is that every track should be better than the previous in conveying the intended emotion, as well as in transferring the artist's joy of making the track. Listener's enjoyment was and always will be Loockey's top priority.
