Philadelphia-raised musician Maxfield Gast has been widely recognized for his performance as a saxophonist, composer and producer. As a featured artist he has released several solo albums ranging from jazz, pop and electronica all on the Militia Hill label. Maxfield has constructed an extensive discography having recorded on over 50 albums and has worked with a wide variety of artists including Grammy Award winning band Cage The Elephant, Reggie Watts, Louis C.K., multi-Grammy Award winner Bakithi Kumalo, Tri-state Indie Award-winning bands Work Drugs and Aaron Parnell Brown, Grammy Award winning songwriter Scot Sax and as a member of studio band SweetPro, composed and performed the music for all 5 seasons of FX Network’s multi Emmy Award winning series Louie.
