French/Japanese producer Mayaewk (Laurent Maya Garcia) has been making music since childhood, evolving from guitar and four-track recordings to genre-blending production inspired by hip hop, shoegaze, and beyond. Launching the Mayaewk project in 2017, he quickly became a respected name in the underground lofi scene through Bandcamp and SoundCloud.
Today, his warm, nostalgic sound has earned a dedicated global following alongside a growing catalog of EPs, albums, and vinyl and cassette releases.
