Smeeagain’s journey began when his rock band broke up and he packed his bags to travel the world. After visiting cities throughout Asia and South America, he found an old, used SP404 at a pawn shop west of Melbourne (Australia). Intentionally bought to make backing beats while writing new rock songs, Smeeagain discovered making hip-hop-esque beats with a chill hop lofi feel is similar to meditating.
