Tarik Robinson is a veteran emcee and producer from Calgary, Canada. Now going by his birth name, the artist also known as Teekay has been a pioneer in the local YYC hip hop scene for years with his group Dragon Fli Empire alongside DJ Cosm. Now the Jamaican-Canadian is looking to put the world on notice to his solo offerings as well.
The first project released under his new moniker is the Unión Latinoamericana Beat Tape, featuring melodic dusty Latin samples chopped, looped and filtered over banging drum breaks. Robinson also hops on the mic over the "Santiago Remix" with Chilean emcee Ander to give a preview of his smooth, golden era flow.
