Creating a wall of sound, bursting with luminous tones, dancing in tenebrosity and packed with emotion-evoking ‘GC’ feels; Two Birds One aren’t your average Gold Coast Band but are the architects of a dynamic fusion that is both fresh and familiar. The two piece, masterminded by Michael and Shoota, met whilst playing in bands Aquila Young, TH'FIKA and Keelan Mak. After demoing out a few solo sessions together, the multi-instrumentalists had discovered a sound that is all their own. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Tom Misch, Nick Murphy, Jordan Rakei and Bonobo the duo have been able to express a vivaciously groovy, bitingly atmospheric sound that begs the question, “where can I hear more”?
