In light of #throwbackthursday I figured I'd share one of my all time favourite bands with you guys!

2010 saw the release of Avi Buffalo's first self titled album which proved to be mature far beyond it's years, although being straight out of high school at the time, Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg knew exactly what he was doing. Whether it be conveying his own raw emotion in his music or finding a balance between a bluesy-folk and indie-pop feel. All of Isenberg's lyrics from the album supposedly told the struggle of wild adolescence.

He is extremely honest and quite cynical when it comes to his lyric writing, also not to mention the quite controversial song title's such as "Summer Cum" and "Five little sluts", but in the end, I thought it made for a kick ass album and just added to their peculiarity. 'What's in it for?' seemed to be the starry eyed indie pop lo-fi fusion off the album.  There was a lot of production put into the makings of the track, but definitely made a great track to loose your thoughts in.

The band just finished wrapping up their long awaited (try 3 years) new album.  They had been dropping bits and pieces of the album on various social networks and if it's anything like what I've heard well then it will definitely be one for the books.
