Hjemve

Something I particularly enjoyed about "Hjemve" is the unlikely combination of music genres we're acquainted with.

It's rare to hear jazz not only adapted in an ambient form, but also emblazoned with a ridiculously soulful touch thanks to the calmative arrangement of the keys. It's the lush presence of the clarinet that eventually sweeps listeners off their feet, especially when they're paired in harmonies as that swiftly enhances the rich emotion embedded within the track.

The song's sense of longing is part of its title which is Danish for 'Homesickness'.
