I personally recognize producer Mikos Da Gawd from Soulection, although this is my official introduction to the work of former Youth Poet Laureate Basi. His flows over Mikos' lush yet hard-hitting beat are like butter, and his gripping lyricism exudes such a warm, welcoming vibe.
One of the standout moments on "Moonshine" is Aaron Tabor's soulful sax embellishments which place an emphasis on the track's sensual touch. This gem is the focus track on Mikos Da Gawd and Basi's upcoming collaborative album Supernova.
