With his debut album on the horizon, Blackadder unveils his latest release, "Polygon", a track that encapsulates his signature aesthetic in a manner that's bright and upbeat.

This stands up there as one of the most melodically driven releases from the UK-based producer across his catalog. Glistening keys lead the arrangement while shuffling, UKG-inspired drums offer momentum and swing, thus driving the track forward. His sense of world-building really comes to life towards the second half, as glossy arpeggios, flutes, and even strings fill the mix with color and atmosphere. To get a different perspective of how this experience would sound like calmer, Blackadder has paired "Polygon" with a chill rendition that's perfect for an evening wind-down.

"I had this demo sitting on my hard drive for years. I started it very early in my journey when I was naïve and just learning about producing. It feels like a nod to my past self to finally conclude it, so I tried to stay true to that naivety with how I finished it off, by deliberately keeping the mix a bit rough around the edges, which I think adds a hazy quality to how the track feels," shares Blackadder.
