Boxed Wine is one of those bands who are our main “customers”: small local band, extremely good music, extremely underrated.
Hailing from New Jersey (according to them "It's not as bad of a place as you think") the guys play very fun and cheerful indie pop/rock and it has been a while since I started nodding my head in approval and tapping my foot from the first chords of the song. To be more precise "Cannibal" is the song that made me instantly happy and dancey. If their intention was to make music that would get people moving they have definitely achieved it. They call their genre indie party pop and I think this name is something we have to widely adopt.
