Like bees drawn to the allure of pollen, fans of Burial are going to seamlessly gravitate towards the new C O N T X T release "Eternal Whisper".

The track is eerie and dark thanks to the thick atmosphere shrouding the mix. Apart from somewhat obscure UKG-inspired drum grooves, the heavy mood is complemented by a tapestry of textures that stir curiosity and eventually immerse you in a sonic abyss. In various passages, hazy vocal samples give the track a spooky kind of soul to it which I liked. Even though this is not for everyone, we can't deny that this is SO well produced.
