Caius is giving us a reason to smile today with his latest release "Falling". The track is part of his new EP Chromantic and is guaranteed to make you wanna move.

The talented Danish producer doesn't cease to throw good vibes at us with every new track he drops. This one carries such a pleasant nostalgic feel, which mixed with the dance-inspired drums is totally uplifting and refreshing like summer rain.

Caius' debut EP was created in collaboration with Danish vocalist Neigh(whose voice you can hear by the end of this track). With themes of heartbreak, the collaborators deliver a forward-thinking take on electronic r&b, house and neo-soul. Caius aimed to imitate a mind state between sleep and consciousness, as the EP is reliving his old memories of lost love and broken hearts in a musical dream. He elaborates:

As I've been thinking about my musical style lately, I realized that what I always tried to imitate subconsciously with my small and repetitive vocal samples was the mind state of overthinking love and relationships. It’s the same thoughts that you think over and over again until eventually you learn to let go. I think that’s why a small sentence like “I can’t live without your love” can mean so much to people, because they add it to their own situation and life. So I realized that for the EP I wanted to take this a step further. Basing the whole concept around reliving old memories through a dream. The whole EP basically dips into certain memories that Neigh and I hold dear.
