Today we present the sunniest release on our label this summer, and definitely one we've been looking forward to sharing for a long time.

Meet Calida Ray (Frederick Schulze-Schilddorf) - a German multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer, and composer whose music blurs the lines between jazz, blues, R&B, ambient, and experimental sounds. Drawing inspiration from artists like Hiatus Kaiyote, D'Angelo, Jacob Collier, Robert Glasper, and beyond, you're going to fall in love with his otherworldly, sun-soaked, and unmistakably unique style.

"Light In Me" marks Calida Ray's debut on Stereofox Records and serves as the first teaser from his forthcoming album, There Might Be Light Above The Surface. Released in two parts, the album unfolds as a deeply personal journey in search of light, moving through uncertainty, hope, love, and fear while balancing between darkness and illumination.

Part one, dropping on September 7th, reveals the brighter, more energetic side of the project, while part two descends into darker, deeper, and more experimental territory towards the end of this year. The full project will be available on vinyl, and you can already pre-order it.

Also, shoutout to the amazing artworks by our designer Hristo. Look out for the next ones.

I hope you enjoy the first taste of this project as much as we do. Stream/pre-order here.
