Surprisingly, this marks the first collaboration between Catching Flies and Parra for Cuva, and together they’ve crafted an immersive experience with "On A Clear Day, You Can See Forever."
UK-based producer Catching Flies has compiled his breath taking work from this year into quite a cohesive body of work. "On A Clear Day, You Can See Forever" is the opening track, and it sounds EXACTLY like what I imagined a collab between CF and PC would be like. Lush, organic embellishments are invited to enliven the mix while ethnic vocal samples grounding the track with a human warmth. I can't neglect to mention the lead character in this experience - the glossy kalimbas. Their presence brings a playful brightness, cutting through the layers with a luminous clarity.
