I've been staring at my PC for the past 20 minutes struggling to piece together a description of what I just experienced. Thing is, "Never Be the Same Again" is not only emotionally compelling... The composition sounds flawless especially with the inclusion of the larger than life string section.
Florence & the Machine and Alice Phoebe Lou come to mind the moment I heard Foy's vocals. Her vocal performance is emotionally charged yet simultaneously thought-provoking, and everything she says comes across as very dramatic by virtue of the cinematic instrumentation. "Never Be the Same Again" combines elements of Classical, Indie and Folk to create a mood that essentially has the power to inspire.
