Tantalizing. Indulging. Sublime. This is what it sounds like when the sultry electronica of Brooklyn duo Color War meets the production genius of mid-western one-man band Absofacto.
With deep synths and an 80's vibe, the original version was the perfect landscape for an electro-pop makeover. Also known as one half of Hollow & Akimbo, Jonathan Visger (Absofacto) layered in hazy atmospherics and rolling synths, creating a rich and dreamier soundscape while hanging on to the original moody vibe.
Along with remixes from Xiu Xiu and DJ Clap, Absofacto's spin on Color War's signature single will be available on the forthcoming album It Could Only Be This Way, due for release on the Four Horsemen label March 4th.
