In preparation for Daily Bread's Cloud Conductor EP release, I can't help but drop something potent with the summer vibes on our feed today.
Derlee x Daily Bread is a force to be reckoned with and I almost get an idea about how their approaches came together. Downtempo, heavy hip hop beats with those serene samples set the scene of the summer life almost in slow motion. My cravings for the still summer night air and golden skies were heightened by where this collab put me mentally. I'm only ever finding myself more enthused by how sampling can be a melodic instrument inside of a track, practically.
