Got a Lot on My Mind

DE/AL is a London-based electronic duo that draws inspiration from anything gentle and intimate.

DE (Delja, a German singer/songwriter) and AL (Alessandro, an Italian producer) channel their personal experiences with haunting downtempo/UKG sonic elements, and I think it's that pure, honest, and transparent approach to making music that makes them special.

"Lately we’ve been feeling a little behind, we haven’t really had the time or even the right headspace to promote our stuff or write new music, and it kinda felt like we were abandoning this project a little :( life can just be a lot sometimes, and if you’ve been feeling the same way lately, for whatever reason, then this song is dedicated to you," the duo shared on Instagram.

Their new single, "Got A Lot On My Mind," is a slow-burning electronica chill track with lush vocals, ambient textures, and a late-night feel. As soon as I heard it, I felt this heavy melancholia, which I felt the first time I discovered Hundred Waters back in 2014.
