Okay, that's some seriously cool blend of genres.
UK producer Dwyer teamed up with (one of my personal fav finds from last year) South London rapper Stacy N.K.R and Danish saxophonist 9ICK for "Come Out the Room!" Staying away from any clear genre definitions, the trio brought together elements of jazz house, dance electronica, and UK hip-hop. Both upbeat and nostalgic, the track carries punchy beatwork, smooth yet solid flow, and dreamy sax that intertwine as they've always belonged together.
The track is part of Dwyer's latest EP, Live Slow, which is actually an experimental electronic/alternative dance project with various influences/styles. A pretty cool and surprising overall listen, I must admit.
