This is exactly the kind of rap music that speaks to me as of late. The kind where slick lyricism shines bright along with flows that are reminiscent of the East Coast or the South side. That's exactly what we're acquainted with on Lord Sko's (who I JUST found out is from New York) "SKY FERREIRA". On the production, CARRTOONS subtly pulls from jazz and soul to create a hip hop instrumental that's quite atypical for the genre. For me, this is pure "rappers rapping rap" and I love it!
