From the lyricism to the overall performance, Kichwa Kubwa is all about composure on his latest release, "Over Di Bar".
Kichwa Kubwa is a Kenyan artist from Nairobi who is now based in Austin, and throughout his storytelling, we can hear how these two worlds converge. Metaphors around football are intertwined with themes of self-confidence and romance to paint a vivid picture of an artist navigating identity, ambition, and the complexities of love through his own unique lens. Instrumentally, this is reflected through the comforting guitar arrangements and the amazing rhythm section that packs a punch.
