I'm pretty sure 80% of my reviews I mention my thoughts on the drums as that is important to me and on here, it was those rapid but smooth hi-hats which initially caught my attention.
Ehll Evans makes use of pitched vocals which almost sound as if they are coming from beneath the ocean, and these lofty pads to create a sensually atmospheric listening experience. You can easily hear the influence of alt r&b outfit DVSN on here and a bit of Ta-Ku in the mix.
"On My Mind" is the lead single from a short album titled "Speechless", an R&B project that uses a lot of vocals, but very few lyrics to give listeners a uniquely soulful experience".
