On the surface of things, if you (like me) have never heard of New York four-piece EPISODE before, you would be forgiven for thinking they are a brand new band thanks to their catchy and coherent new single "Swim". Digging a little deeper though, you'll actually see that beyond their empty Soundcloud and Youtube pages, the band have actually been releasing music and causing a buzz online for almost a couple of years now.
Presumably reinventing themselves under the veil of the New Year, their new single "Swim" is a warm and classic slice of irresistible indie-pop. Comfortingly retro, the song's bold guitars and colourful vocals are faultlessly entertaining and make for an incredibly moorish listen.
