If you don't know Eric Krasno, now's a good time to start.  Hailing from the legendary bands Lettuce and Soulive, Krasno has been a rising guitar sound in the funk & soul world and beyond for some time.  Having collaborated with producers like Gramatik, written songs for artists like Talib Kweli and 50 Cent, and shared the stage with Philly hiphop legends The Roots, Eric Krasno has placed his solo album Blood From A Stone on the ears of the world to absorb.

And absorb you shall from a track with a soulful, mysterious feel. Krasno's soft voice along with the faded, vintage hiphop drum beat and that late-night bassline create an audible atmosphere designed to make an emotional impression. "On The Rise" gives me feels of coming up in life -- where all the struggles and lessons learned seem to align for one period in time to put it all into perspective.
