It was so uplifting and refreshing to come across Ervin Sprinkles' music, especially after I read that his moniker was inspired by his daughter's love for sweets (especially ice cream) and belief that everything is better with sprinkles. How sweet is that?
Ervin's music feels like jazzy lo-fi chillhop mixed with a little bit of childish optimism, curiosity, and playfulness. Even though we're not kids anymore, I think we should remember to add some sprinkles to our everyday lives from time to time and not take everything too seriously.
