Hemis by Ext Sleep would be an adequate soundtrack to decorate the scenery of a dream by virtue of the spacey pads and the overall weightlessness. Before the arrival of the drums, I felt so-so about the song. It’s the brilliant use of texture layered beneath the drums creates a sort of comforting warmth to the track. At least, this track serves a wonderful piece for background music, but at most you’re invited to wonder in a world vividly colored with soundscapes.
