Luxurious instrumental hip-hop at its finest. "Gravity", courtesy of Hamburg-based music producer Ferge, introduces a warm organic sound mixed with retro melancholic vibes.
The drums on the track seem to collapse under their heaviness and you can feel the beat pushing you into your seat. The warped lo-fi keys are dark-sounding, yet soulful while the Dilla-inspired groove is paired with a few dusty samples that have a nice switch in the middle of the song. Tender guitars then make their way through the layers of chords and textures to introduce a conversation-like motif.
"Gravity" is the second Single of the upcoming instrumental EP by the German beatmaker, which we can't wait to hear!
