Flwr Chyld’s InsydeOut was one of my favorite albums from last year, so it’s great to hear a similar aesthetic carried into his latest release, "Wrapped Around".

This marks the first track to arrive in 2026 for the Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter. What I loved about "Wrapped Around" is the fascinating rhythm section - there is so much bounce, plus the progression at times feels unpredictable by virtue of the placement of the kick and the rim shots. This is adorned with simple yet poetic vocals that are there more so for vibe and feel rather than essence and depth, giving the track an effortless charm that feels immersive and carefree. Glittery guitars and shimmering keys stand as the glue that holds the melodic structure of the track together throughout the experience of "Wrapped Around", and this is delivered in such an elegant manner too.
