The Norwegian band is inspired by music across the globe, and this time they continue to explore danceable rhythms inspired by African and Asian 70s music. On "Corals" this is evident in the somewhat spiritual hymns and the stellar guitar arrangements throughout the track. The hymns offer us a sense of solace while simultaneously showcasing Fred Paa Jord's distinct brand of indie music. Fred Paa Jord is Norwegian and translates to “Peace on Earth”, and I totally get this from their music!
