Rarely do you see a band for the first time that totally projects all of the emotions you feel back onto you. Last week that band was Free Moral Agents. They were playing at the famous Roxy Theater alongside other local LA bands. With their eclectic fusion, to me, they provide the perfect mix of quirky singer-songwriter Bjork and funky soulful jazz band Soulive.

Hailing from Long Beach, California and founded by the keyboardist of the dearly departed The Mars Volta, Free Moral agents are a gift to my music library. I suggest you check out their 2010 album Control This. To listen more of hop to their Spotify and Souncloud.
