Two years after the release of his debut album Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam, Ghostpoet aka Obaro Ejimiwe announced "Meltdown" - the first single from his sophomore album Some Say I So I Say Light, which was released on the 6th May 2013.
"Meltdown" is an epic duet with Woodpecker Wooliams, very powerful, sensual and melancholic. Woodpecker's haunting vocals complement the general tone of the track and are beautifully combined with Ghostpoet's storytelling. This is incredible smooth electro.
The video is fantastic as well, I can't imagine anything fitting this song better. Very simple, yet very ambiguous. His album is out now, I got to hear only two songs from it (one is for free download off his Soundcloud by the way) and I sure like what I hear.
